FAQ & Info

Q. I'm a team member. Am I eligible for benefits?

A. Yes. We have benefits programs especially for part-time team members and leads that provide lots of coverage choices at a great price. Once the 90-day waiting period is over, you can sign up for the plan that best meets the needs of you and your dependents.

Q. Are team members also eligible for 401(k)?

A. Absolutely! As long as you're 21 years of age or older, you're eligible to participate in our 401(k) program with company match.

Q: What hours does a general manager/assistant general manager work?

A: All of our management team members are scheduled for a 50-hour work week. When applicable, management team members who are eligible for overtime pay will receive it according to state and federal law.

Q: What are the benefits?

A: Jamba offers a wide-range of medical, dental and other benefits for management team members. We also offer a 401(k) program that allows for immediate contribution with a 100% match that's vested from your very first day.

Q: What kind of bonuses does Jamba offer?

A: Jamba has a quarterly bonus plan to reward immediate performance, yearly bonuses for long-term performance, and retention bonuses to reward longevity with the company. We also offer bonuses for going above and beyond the call of duty, and for taking on tasks such as training new managers, promoting team members into management positions and referring new individuals to Jamba.

Q: What's the training like?

A: The Jamba Juice Manager In Training (MIT) Program is a six-week in-store experience where you'll learn everything Jamba - from working on the frontline to running the entire store. You'll be mentored by a seasoned Jamba gm who'll give you the tools and confidence you need to succeed in your new position.

Q: What's the career path?

A: Whatever you choose to make it. Click here to see just how far you can go.

Q: How should I dress for an interview with Jamba?

A: We're a pretty casual bunch, so leave the suit and tie at home (along with the tuxedo t-shirt). Comfortable 'business casual' should be just fine.

Q: What's it like to run a Jamba?

A: Ask a general manager! Go to your local store...feel the vibe...see if the energy and passion we have for our business is the right fit for you.

Q: Do I need a Bachelor's Degree to be a Jamba gm?

A: No. While it's preferred, commensurate experience with other restaurant/retail concepts can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Q: Can I be a Jamba GM if I've never run a store before?

A: Probably not. While we can never say never, odds are, if you've never been a store manager for a restaurant or retail store, you won't be hired as a general manager with Jamba. This doesn't mean you can't be an assistant general manager. If you want to run a store, that's the place to start.
